The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) estimates that there were 17 million new cancer cases in 2018 worldwide. By 2040, the global burden is expected to grow to 27.5 million new cancer cases, with 16.3 million deaths; simply down to population growth and aging. Factoring in the increased prevalence of risk factors such as smoking, unhealthy diet and sedentary lifestyles in developing countries that burden is lively to be higher.

Given these factors, and current percentage of cancer cases that are from developing countries, you can clearly see for the developing countries how the future burden is very likely to grow.
